#smokefreeconcerts: the gig’s inside, the cigs stay outside

Wednesday 6 March 2019 - 08:00

#smokefreeconcerts is an initiative by concert hall managers, concert promoters and Kom op tegen Kanker (Stand up to Cancer) to ban tobacco smoke from concert halls. Fancy a cigarette? Keep it fun for everyone and smoke outside. You keep the concert smoke-free and you don’t encourage others to light up inside. #smokefreeconcerts wristbands will be handed out in the coming weeks at concerts in Flanders and Brussels. We encourage everyone, non-smokers as well as smokers, to wear them and to send out a powerful message against smoking in concert halls. If you were to share a photo of your wristband online, be sure to tag it with the hashtag #smokefreeconcerts. More info at In the Sportpaleis Group venues #smokefreeconcerts wristbands will be distributed at the following concerts: Florence + the Machine (Sportpaleis, 7 March), The Kooks (Lotto Arena, 28 March), Alice on the Roof (Forest National, 30 March), MNM Back to the 90s & Nillies (Sportpaleis, 5 and 6 April).
